Putting Window Drill
Match your tempo to the distance you see. Stop the ball inside a 2-foot window at 20, 30, and 40 feet โ one putt at each, repeated over five rounds.

1
Pick a flat starting spot. Find a flat stretch of green so slope doesn't skew your distance control. Drop a tee or coin to mark your start.
2
Pace off the windows. Mark a 2-foot window at 20 ft, another at 30 ft, and another at 40 ft (pace at roughly 3 ft per step to measure).
3
Play one ball at each distance, in order. 20 ft, then 30 ft, then 40 ft โ that's one round. Stop the ball inside the window; don't try to hole it. Then start over. Five rounds total.
4
Log every ball. Mark each as In the window, Short, or Long. Your results sync to all your devices automatically.
In the window โ ball stops inside the 2-foot zone
Short โ ball stops before the zone (not enough pace)
Long โ ball rolls past the zone (too much pace)
